JOB PURPOSE:

The Reliability Engineer Airframe provides specialist engineering support to keep the Airframe Systems and Components on the RX Fleet in a highly technically reliable condition thereby delivering operational excellence and meeting commercial expectations.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

• Lead the Technical Reliability functions to ensure a safe and reliable operation.
• Ensure all activities under their responsibility are handled in accordance with the CASS Manual and in compliance with GACA Requirements
• Has detailed knowledge of reliability analysis methods including maintenance task interval, failure mode, age-to failure, MTBF and MTBUR data.
• Defines threshold limits for the different Airframe Systems and Components to ensure alarms are triggered when the limits are exceeded.
• Collects and analyze data from flight operations, maintenance records and other sources to identify trends and patterns related to airframe systems and equipment reliability.
• Compile data and prepare reliability reports for review by different stakeholders and the regulatory authority.
• Lead regular Technical Reliability Review meetings with all relevant stakeholders.
• Use the reliability reports to identify trends and implement strategies that enhance the overall performance and efficiency of RX Fleet.
• Investigate safety reports, repetitive defects and fleet reliability data and take effective action to prevent recurrence and improve operational performance.
• Propose enhancements and upgrades to airframe systems and components to minimize failure rates and improve technical reliability.
• Work closely with the Technical Services department with regards to proposed enhancements to aircraft systems and components
• Develop new processes and procedures and/or implement changes to existing work processes and procedures to make them more efficient and effective.
• Perform any tasks assigned to them by the direct line manager.
• Ensure appropriate team interfaces are in place to support 24/7 uninterrupted operations.
• Establish goals and objectives for the Technical Reliability Team that aim to exceed the Riyadh Air performance indicators.

PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE:

• 8 years’ experience in aviation technical department out of which 5+ years in the Technical Reliability Department
• Demonstrated experience in preparing Technical Reliability Reports and leading Technical Reliability Review meetings.

ACADEMIC QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Aviation, Engineering, or other nationally recognized qualification
• AME/A&P License with 10+ years' aviation technical experience
